Why we started

Anybody who has rented a dumpster in this area knows the story. You book a can, you are told it will be there Tuesday morning, and you have a crew standing around Tuesday afternoon with nothing to load. Or the price you were quoted on the phone is not the price on the invoice, because nobody mentioned the weight limit until after the scale ticket came back.

We built this business around not doing that. Clear prices with the included tonnage stated up front, and a delivery window we actually keep. If your job changes, call us and we will work with you — that is what a local operator can do that a franchise script cannot.

How we work

Our drivers know the difference between a driveway you can set a loaded can on and one you cannot. They put boards down. They will tell you if the spot you picked has a power line in the way before they try it, not after. Small things, but they are the difference between a job that goes smoothly and a repair bill.

We are honest about size, too, even when it costs us. If you tell us you are tearing off a roof, we will steer you to a 20 yard rather than sell you the 40 — because shingles are heavy, and you would blow through the weight allowance on a bigger can long before you filled it.

FLC Roll Off Services LLC is a licensed and insured Florida limited liability company based in Plant City. We carry the coverage required to work on residential and commercial job sites throughout Hillsborough, Polk, Pasco, Pinellas, Manatee, Sarasota and Hardee counties.

You may see our trucks and containers lettered Summit Dumpsters. That is us. FLC Roll Off Services LLC does business as Summit Dumpsters — one company, one crew, one phone number.

So if you booked with FLC Rolloff and a Summit Dumpsters truck pulls up your driveway, nothing has gone wrong. Both names belong to the same locally owned business here in Plant City, and either one will reach us at 813-924-4981.

Who you're calling

We are small on purpose. The person who answers the phone is the person who schedules your drop, and often the person who drives it out to you. There is no queue and no script — describe the job and you will get a straight answer about size, price and timing.

That is also why we would rather talk you into a smaller can than sell you a bigger one. We are going to see you again on the next project, and a customer who got surprised by an overage fee does not call back.
